Comment: I have thouroughly learned my lesson when it comes to going cheap on a patio umbrella. I ordered this umbrella thinking it would be pretty standard but I was very wrong. The material used is very cheap and will most likely break within 1 month of use. The cloth used is very thin, the wood used is cheap, the hardware used is not smooth. I would never buy this product.

Comment: Just received three of these and have to say the quality and look are much better than I expected for the price. An umbrella priced 10x as much would I'm sure be of higher quality and durability. However, they do not look cheap and so far have held up to the weather rather nicely. If they hold up I will probably buy more.

Summary: A Bit Big But Still Good In Helsinski
Comment: Using this umbrella while I walked around Helsinski city, I happened to realize that it is really large. The width is great because no rain can get under your nose and if you are wearing glasses, they won't fog up. I received complaints though when pedestrians said I was "hogging up the sidewalk", other than that, it's a go.

Comment: The umbrella was made out of a lighter, thiner cloth than others we have had for almost the same money, but that was a few years ago. Still it's adequate for what we need and looks good.

Comment: it is not canvas. it is a sheer synthetic fabric that allows filtered sunlight, which plants enjoy. the ribs and hardware are not as sturdy as more expensive umbrellas, but sufficient. It looks great and does the job. After a couple of years if it looks horrible, it would be really cheap to replace.
