Comment: I bought this as gift for a handy-not person, got it here and was very pleased with entire book. I, married to "mr. handyman" understood it fairly well.I actully wanted to keep it ,to savor in the knowledge that MABEY , I too could fix something!Its very heavy,It would behoove you to have it shipped straight to reciever.

Comment: Contents in the book are fine but I was surprised to received this book from Amazon that looks different than the one I saw on the site.
The difference: 1) On the web site the book cover is red with white lettering.
2) The one I received, has gold cover with black lettering and the cover is installed backward. I have to open from the back of the book to get to the beginning of the contents.......bait-and-switch?...

Summary: A Must Read for the Non-Handyman!
Comment: My husband would rather hire then actually fix something. Well, after I bought him this book... that is in the past! He loves fixing things now because the fear is nolonger their that he will break something or make it worse then it already is:-) He actually used it again this past weekend and said how easy it makes the "fix-it" job!!!
