This hammock is handcrafted by native Mayans that still weave the way they've done for centuries. It is hand woven to perfection so that it will mold to any body shape and support the entire body in weightlesness. This Mayan hammock is tighly woven with a thicker rope so it is more durable than others on the market. The 100% cotton rope also prevents the hammock from tangling itself, which often happens with cheaper hammocks made of nylon. This is an original and very rare hammock, featured here at an unbeatable price and quality! The arms end in a threaded loop for durability and ease of use. It does not come with hanging hardware and it does not fit on regular or large stand. We have a Mayan Hammock Stand featured on the right hand side. Otherwise, you will need to hang with ropes, hanging hardware kit, or specially equipped tree straps, also featured on the right hand side. We recommend a space of 11 to 14 feet to hang it properly.
