Summary: Comfortable and sturdy
Comment: I have had my hammock for around 2 months now, and it has been great. I sleep in it every night, and it's so comfortable that I don't have any back problems (like I frequently do on a matress). My son climbs in with me and likes to swing, and it's held up to him, as rough as he can be.
I can't see needing a new one for a long time, but when I do, it will be another one of these.

This hammock is handcrafted by native Mayans that still weave the way they've done for centuries. It is hand woven to perfection so that it will mold to any body shape and support the entire body in weightlesness. This Mayan hammock is tighly woven with a thicker rope so it is more durable than others on the market. The 100% cotton rope also prevents the hammock from tangling itself, which often happens with cheaper hammocks made of nylon. This is an original and very rare hammock, featured here at an unbeatable price and quality! The arms end in a threaded loop for durability and ease of use. It does not come with hanging hardware and it does not fit on regular or large stand. We have a Mayan Hammock Stand featured on the right hand side. Otherwise, you will need to hang with ropes, hanging hardware kit, or specially equipped tree straps, also featured on the right hand side. We recommend a space of 11 to 14 feet to hang it properly. The hooks should be put between 5-7 feet high depending on the length. See our hanging instruction. We strongly recommend adding some throw pillows as they make the Mayan hammock more comfortable and help keep its shape when not in use.
