Comment: This is a great patio set! You could easily pay much more for lower quality.

My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by how nice it looked. The chairs are very comfortable. Very solid and sturdy. Like other reviewers, I love how everything folds up for easy winter storage.. the ability to easily store it in the off-season will add a lot of life.

I'm not so sure about the "eco friendly" certification. It is manufactured in Vietnam, and I am not sure about how closely monitored the practices are. And, of course, the fact that it originates from the other side of the world makes calling it "eco friendly" is a stretch.

The table was slightly damaged when we received it.. one of the wooden slats that makes up the table-top is warped. The seller (Ewins) generously and quickly offered a 10% discount, and we are happy with that. Everything else arrived in great shape. The chairs came fully assembled and the table took about 10 minutes to put together.

Overall, I am very happy with this set. The price is right and it looks great. It remains to be seen how it will hold up over time, but I am optimistic.

Summary: Nice Outdoor Furniture
Comment: This is good outdoor furniture. It arrived very quickly, I think within 6 days of ordering. It is very heavy duty, and seems to have good hardware. We put a protective sealer on it in order to lock in the color, and prevent fading. We'll see how that works out.

I think for the price, and for the convenience of being able to fold everything up, and tuck it away during the cold months, it was a great purchase.

Summary: Beautiful patio set!
Comment: Very pleased with this patio set. Well-constructed and substantial. I love that all the pieces fold down for easy storage without disassembling. The chairs are ready to go right out of the box, and the table only needed a few minutes of initial assembly. The table is a great size and seats six very comfortably. We've even pulled up a couple of extra chairs in a pinch with no problem. The chairs that come with the set are wide, comfortable and very sturdy. The only thing I don't like is that the arms on some of the chairs tend to get wobbly with use. It only takes a second to retighten them with the included allen wrench, but we've had to do it several times in the few weeks we've had the set. If not for that small issue, I'd have given this patio set 5 stars. I was a little worried about ordering a patio set over the internet, but this one more than lived up to my expectations. I had shopped around locally and found nothing of this quality at such a great price.

Summary: Fantastic quality for a great price!
Comment: I discovered this set on Amazon, although I purchased it elsewhere because I found it offered for more than $50 cheaper, and with free shipping. (Sorry, Amazon; too good to pass up.)

Nonetheless, I am thrilled with the quality of this set; equivalent sets are selling for hundreds more (and most of them aren't made of sustainably harvested materials). Every piece is exceptionally well crafted, the carpentry very high quality. Just the way the chairs unfold (silently and easily) is impressive. This set will last for a long time, even if I fold and unfold the pieces frequently. Attention to detail is such that a wood circle is included to fill the center umbrella hole if you don't want to use an umbrella.

Finally, its design makes it compact but not unusably small, which I have seen all too frequently with wood patio sets in this price range. Spacious for a meal for two or three people; comfortable for four.

I took off a star only because it's billed as "eco-friendly" -- which perhaps it is if you live in Singapore, where the wood is harvested, rather than halfway around the world via fossil fuel. If this is really important to you, you'll need to keep looking; I chose to make a compromise on green-ness in order to get the best of what I could afford to spend.

Speaking of green, the included cover is a loud kelly green; it's a bit jarring -- nice to have a free cover, but I would prefer a more natural shade.

These items were extremely well packed and shipped with care -- the chairs arrived fully assembled, and the table requires you to put in two bolts with the included Allen wrench. Super-easy. I've been burned before by ordering larger items over the Internet that arrive in a different shape at my doorstep thanks to the shipping company; far from the case here.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and looking forward to a lovely springtime meal outside this weekend!
