Summary: Great for Basic Viewing channel viewing
Comment: I don't own a traditional tv, but I wanted to be able watch football games on Sunday on the basic channels- CBS ABC NBC Fox. This performs the job quite well. It took me no longer than 20 minutes to install and scan for channels and be up and running. It also found a few HD channels, which is a nice bonus, but my primary concern was the basic channels for sports- and in that this delivers.
I first purchased the Sabrent TV-USBHD Dual ATSC & Digital HDTV and all it could find was some foreign language channels and local access- needless to say I was unsatisfied and returned it for the Hauppauge, which I am now happy with.
It's also very easy to record TV using the software. The timer for recording makes it easy to record when you're away.

Summary: Great for its size, easy set up
Comment: This pulls in with better quality using the USB connection than a PCI card I had from the same company. I sit comfortably at home 13 miles away from the towers and the HD channels in Cleveland come in okay (except for NBC)...the little antennae (or aerial) which came with the stick works better than the powered allegedly HD antennae I got from Target...the usual quirks with digital signals (spotty during storms, etc) are present, but it's more the tranmission from the station than the stick. Works really well with cable connections. Worth the money.

Summary: Win TV Hauppauge Review
Comment: The software was fairly easy to download and install, but the picture is a bit fuzzy on the computer. Also, the audio has alot of static when the volume is turned up. In all, it does the job as long as your not going strictly for quality.

Summary: Better cable recption than my 2000 TV
Comment: My notebook is now my only TV.
Installation was plug and play.
Sound is excellent; I do not use the work around to the sound card.
The video was jerky so I followed the help suggestion on video acceleration and the video has been fine
My notebook is a Dell Inspiron B130 (4/2007 under $500)
1,500 MHz / 1Gig RAM

Summary: good stuff
Comment: First shipment used for only a few hours then went bad. Calld the Customer Service and got replacement two weeks later, everything seems fine ever since. Easy setup, clear picture, I even recorded FOX's Prison Break and later viewed on the plane while I was traveling overseas.
