I got this for my Sansa e250 MP3 Player, wanting to be sure it was not proprietary, ie, just for the iPod. It works great and the sound is smooth, rich, and vibrant. I am totally amazed that a system so small delivers such wonderful, distortion free, pure sound. The Product Description is accurate, truthful, and provides full details. Truly a great product!

Comment: I found the JBL On Tour Portable Speaker via Amazon's Gold Box special for $34.95. With its sliding hide-away speaker cover, this sleek system matches up well with my Sony MP3 player without any complications. Surprisingly it pumps out a rich, crystal clear sound at 3 watts per channel and works well in a 12' x 14' space. Not bad for a portable system. Its not much of a space grabber at 7" x 1.4" x 3.5". Weighing in at a mere 12 ounces it packs up easily. Don't forget to pack up the AC adapter.

Comment: This is a nice looking, fairly small portable speaker system. The sound is very good for its size: don't expect full speaker quality. The speakers look nice and will fit in most computer bags. They come with a thin storage sack which holds the speakers, but it takes a lot effort to put the AC adaptor and audio input cable in the sack with the speakers. Probably not the thing to do as it stretches the bag. All in all, a good value if you can find them for under $50.

Comment: This speaker system is tiny. Read the specifications; it is only 7 inches wide. It does, however, have a nice solid feel and I like how it opens and closes.

It costs $10 more than other speaker systems like the Logitech X-240 2.1 Speakers. I bought it anyway because it is JBL and I wanted quality.

The sound is tiny. No bass at all. If you try to make it very loud so two people can have fun, the sound completely clips out. Not very fun. Small sound.

In retrospect, I wish I had purchased something with a little more punch instead of a tiny toy with tiny sound that is over-priced.
