Summary: POOR QUALITY FROM CHINA & HIGH SHIPPING CHARGE FOR THIS IMPORT
Comment: AFTER 2 ATTEMPTS AT THIS PRODUCT, I NOW HAVE ONE COMPLETE SWING WITH CANOPY. THE PACKAGING IS VERY POOR ON THIS ITEM AND DELIVERY IS NOT WORTH THE $50 THAT I WAS CHARGED. IN THE FIRST BOX, ONE OF THE PLASTIC PIECES WAS BROKEN, AND THE METAL SCRATCHED BECAUSE THERE WAS ALMOST NO PROTECTION ON THE METAL. 5 DAYS LATER, THE SECOND BOX ARRIVED. AGAIN ONE OF THE PLASTIC COMPONENTS WAS BROKEN, BUT ON A DIFFERENT PIECE. I WAS ABLE TO USE PIECES FROM BOTH BOXES TO CONSTRUCT A SINGLE SWING AND CANOPY. THIS WAS ACTUALLY ADVISED BY THE AMAZON CUSTOMER REP. BEWARE- THE BOLTS SUPPLIED ARE ALMOST LIKE LIQUID METAL. VERY POOR QUALITY! THE TOPS EASILY SHRED WHEN USING THE TOOLS SUPPLIED IN THE BOX, BUT THERE ARE NO ALTERNATIVES! THE PLASTIC BOLT COVER-UPS ARE ALSO USELESS. THE TOP WILL NOT FIT WITH THE BOTTOM AFTER INSERTING THE BOLT AND TIGHTENING. I DID WITHOUT THEM! I'LL HAVE TO BUY SOME BROWN PAINT TO TOP THEM OFF SO THAT THE BOLTS MATCH THE SWING. NOW- I HAVE BEEN ISSUED A UPS RETURN TICKET FOR ONE OF THE SWINGS. WEIGHING IN AT OVER 100LBS, (BOX INDICATED APPX 112LBS) I'LL HVE TO TRY AND REPACKAGE IT IN THE ORIGINAL CARDBORAD BOX THAT WAS HELD TOGETHER WITH CLEAR SCOTCH TAPE AND BRING IT TO UPS FOR RETURN SHIPMENT. OVERALL, THIS WAS NOT WORTH THE EFFORT OF CONSTRUCTION USING POORLY MANUFACTURED PARTS AND THE HASTLE OF DEALING WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE ITEM TO BE RETURNED. ONE POSITIVE- AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NICE WHEN I SPOKE TO THEM TWICE.

Comment: I was impressed with the quality and ease of putting the swing together. I really like the seat, which is sturdy and dries quickly. I also like the way the tops tilts. You can sit out in a little rain and not get wet.
I would however like to be able to buy another shade replacement cover now. I think the cover will be the place that will show wear down the road.
Is it possible to purchase an additional cover? I could not find information on the Amazon Website.

Comment: It's sturdy and easy to assemble. I recommend securing it to the ground because it blew over (I live in the "windy city" though). Also the canopy comes off super easy for storage on windier days. Cleans well with a damp cloth.

Summary: My mother loves this swing!
Comment: When my mother's old swing came apart, I went online to try to find a better one. After much searching, I found the Strathwood Camano Swing. My mother loves it!! It is much sturdier than her old one and the canopy appears stronger - a weatherproof type material instead of cloth. It took less than an hour to put together with simple instructions. Delivery was prompt, all parts were there! I happily endorse this swing and so does my Mother!!
